Pneumatic Sensor
Pneumatic sensors are intrinsically safe and can be used where no electrical power is available. They can be used instead of limit switches.
Kuhnke's pneumatic position sensor is a 3/2 way valve with contact free actuation. This position transmitter can be actuated either by the magnetic piston of a pneumatic cylinder, or by FE (iron). There is no constant air consumption. This device can be mounted on any round Cetop (DIN ISO 6432) or brass cylinder by a means of a mounting strap (suitable for cylinders 8 - 100mm diameter). For other applications, the M4 threads on either side of the housing can be used.
