Hengstler’s 464-468 series totalising electromechanical counters provide simple panel mounting installation and easy maintenance through a convenient plug in system. A single line display (mechanical figure wheel) indicates the totalising value which can be reset via a manual front button and/or an electrical pulse to the rear of the counter or can be non-resettable, see ordering information for reset options. Choose a 4, 6 or 8 digit display, count input voltages include 24V DC: 24, 115 or 230V AC. Electromechanical counters are non-scalable, the pulse duty factor is 1:1, therefore no setup or programming is involved making these counters extremely simple to use and altogether a fuss free great choice.
Counters can be ordered with a key reset system, the front button is disabled preventing accidental reset - the reset button can only be operated by means of a special key (1.405.465) which is inserted alongside the button and depressed resetting the count value. Special reset versions can be ordered with a suffix code “SR”, for example, 0.465.165.SR (excludes non-reset versions). If this is a new application you will need to order a connection box (1.405.464) and a black panel frame (1.405.491) to fully complete your installation, if it’s a replacement for an existing installation then just simply order the corresponding counter.
This range of counters are part of the “Modular 400” system, other counters including pre-determining adding (type 486-487) or subtracting (type 446-447) electromechanical variants within the same group can be combined together with alternative frames offering continuity in panel appearance, please ask for further information. We offer rigid transparent hinged covers (knob 1.405.611 / key-lock 1.405.612), or flexible synthetic rubber covers with a silver surround (1.405.615) should your application require a further degree of protection class (up to IP65).
