Timer & Counter Company Large Displays
Large numeric and clock displays are used where long viewing distances apply. Most industrial timers and counters show digits which are about 10mm high, designed for inclusion in control panels and viewing "close up", say from 1 - 2 metres. The TTCC series of display modules are available with digit sizes from 57mm (for up to 25 metres viewing) to 400 mm (for up to 200 metres viewing).
TTCC large displays are custom built in the UK from standard components. Typical build times are short. Choose indoor or outdoor brightness versions; red, green, yellow, blue or white colour digits.
Digit Height Guidelines for Large Displays
For every 10 metres of viewing distance you need digits 1 inch high, a typical thumb width, so if you are up to 80 metres away, you will need digits at least 8 inches (200mm) high.
