Hengstler’s Tico 772 counter stands out because of its versatility and its multifunctional ability to be programmed as a counter with up to two presets, as a tachometer, timer, shift or batch counter. Supply voltages are 12 to 30V DC or 24, 115, 230 and 100 to 240V AC. A menu driven display offers ease of programming, features include, up to two SPDT relays (5A @ 250V AC / 30V DC). Relay outputs can be programmed independently of each other, as a timed event upon reaching a preset value (0.01 s to 599.99 s) or latched until reset. This multifunction counter has an IP65 protection class (front side); the terminals are IP20.
The 6 digit display is noticeably easy to read, the upper row of digits (9.3mm digit height) indicates the count value whilst the lower row (7.2mm digit height) indicates the preset value. A standard LCD display is available (0.772.1XX), other options include: black digits on a reflecting background (0.772.2XX), white illuminated digits on a black background (0.772.3XX), red illuminated digits on a black background (0.772.4XX) or green illuminated figures on a black background (0.772.5XX). The backlighting intensity can be adjusted to suit your individual requirement.
Reset can be automatic, manual or remote; additionally the front reset button can be disabled upon set-up to prevent accidental reset. The output status can be easily identified, the front display flashes upon reaching preset 1 or 2. Auxiliary power when operating from an AC supply is available should you require direct wiring of an encoder or sensor. Easy installation plug-in screw terminal connections are to the rear of the counter, a retaining clip for quick panel mounting is provided with each unit.
